For nearly half a century, The Diana Foundation has been committed to driving change and making a difference through our annual "Diana Gives Back" campaign. As we approach the 48th year of this impactful journey, we are excited to once again open our doors and hearts to potential beneficiaries.

Application Period: 📅 October 1st - November 15th

Applications must be postmarked by: November 15, 2023

Announcement Date: The selected beneficiary or beneficiaries for the 2023-24 period will be officially announced in December of 2023.

The Diana Foundation Grant Application: Submission Guidelines & Beneficiary Commitments for 2023-2024

For those organizations interested in seeking funding through The Diana Foundation, please adhere to the following guidelines and submission details to ensure your application is processed:

Submission Deadline: All applications must be postmarked no later than November 15, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.

Application Components: To provide a comprehensive overview of your organization and its funding needs, your application packet should include the following:

  1. Letter of Intent: A detailed letter describing how the potential funds will be allocated and utilized by your organization.

  2. Organizational Background: A thorough history and/or biography of your organization, which provides insight into its mission, values, significant achievements, and impact in the community.

  3. Financial Transparency: A copy of your organization's most recent tax return, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and transparency.

  4. Proof of Non-Profit Status: A copy of your organization's official non-profit 501(c)3 status documentation, verifying your compliance with federal non-profit regulations.

The Diana Foundation: Beneficiary Grant Eligibility Commitments & Expectations

In order to maintain eligibility and fulfillment of The Diana Foundation grant, beneficiaries must adhere to the following commitments and expectations:

  1. Contractual Agreement:

    • Grant recipients must sign The Diana Foundation Grant Contract.
    • All obligations outlined in the contract must be fulfilled to receive the grant payout.
  2. Volunteer Commitments:

    • Recipients must provide a minimum of five (5) volunteers to assist in light duties during our social or fundraising events.
    • Volunteer positions may include:
      • Serving as ushers.
      • Checking in event attendees.
      • Answering basic questions about the event or venue.
      • Assisting with other light duties as needed.
    • Volunteers should not be expected to perform heavy labor or lifting.
    • Events typically last 4-6 hours. Shift options are available for events over four (4) hours.
    • Meals, beverages, and breaks will be provided for all volunteers.
  3. Marketing Commitments:

    • Avidly post on organizational websites and social media platforms, including FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
      • Posting should be on a weekly interval once you are in receipt of the media kit and must continue up to the day of the event.
    • Display prominently on the recipient's website that they are a beneficiary/grant recipient of The Diana Foundation.
    • Include an active link on the grant recipient's website that directs visitors to The Diana Foundation's official website.
  4. Check Presentation:

    • Grant recipients must attend with one or more representatives to speak on behalf of your organization during the check presentation event.
    • Recipients must agree to be photographed while receiving the grant check.
    • These photos may be used on The Diana Foundation's social media, website, event marketing materials, or published in OutSmart magazine.
  5. Supporting Fundraising Efforts:

    • Purchase/underwrite a table for a minimum of $2,500 or more which can seat 8-10 people for The Diana Foundation's Annual Awards Gala on March 16, 2024.
    • Purchase a minimum of four (4) tickets priced at $65 each for the annual Country Dinner on November 11, 2023.
    • Revenue generated from ticket/table sales and donations from fundraising events will augment the overall grant amount.
Compliance with these commitments and expectations is paramount to ensuring the success of our joint endeavors and maintaining eligibility for the grant. Your cooperation and adherence to these terms is greatly appreciated.
