Guest speaker David Eaton spoke about the importance of protecting the monarch butterflies. The monarchs migrate each year from Mexico to Canada. Habitat protection is key to their survival and David spoke of efforts underway to plant 60,000 trees in their overwintering sanctuary in Mexico.
