Youth Services Chair
Rotary’s youth programs - Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Exchange, or Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) - provide young people an opportunity to develop their character and embrace new experiences while exposing them to the organization’s values of service, high ethical standards, and peace. The Youth Services Chair helps us make sure the club keeps a strong focus on engaging with youth through these various programs.

Membership Chair
Attraction and retention of club members is the responsibility of all of us. The Membership Chair monitors how the club is doing in terms of attraction, recruitment and retention. S/he will make sure new members are given a warm welcome, a good orientation, and are quickly involved in aspects of the club that are of particular interest to them. The Membership Chair also helps the Executive make sure that all members are engaged in club activities in ways that are meaningful and fulfilling for them so that they remain enthusiastic about the club and their involvement.

Integrity Awards Coordinator
Rotary Clubs across Edmonton unite together once every year to honour non-Rotarians in our community who demonstrate ethical, principled commitment to their vocation and community in keeping with the values of Rotary. The Integrity Awards coordinator for our club ensures that we are kept up-to-date on the gala evening as it is being planned, and solicits nominations from club members for an annual recipient of the award. The coordinator will need to connect with the organizing committee for the award night (a different host club organizes the event) to make sure we receive accurate and current information.

Director of Club Projects
The club has Chairpersons for Community Services, Vocational Services, International Services and Youth Services. These people will be busy selecting projects for the club to undertake, organizing the project teams to implement the projects, and monitoring/ approving expenditures for the projects. In the past, they have also been expected to attend Board meetings once per month. This year, to ease the burden somewhat and to come more into alignment with the structure suggested by RI, we are going to have a Director of Club Projects whose responsibility it will be to liaise with the various Chairs and keep the Executive appraised of how we are progressing in our various projects. The Director will also liaise with the Fundraising committee to ensure that our budget is reasonably balanced.
