Rotary Youth Exchange is a program where a Rotary Club sponsors a Grade 11 student to spend one year abroad (outbound students) while also hosting a foreign student, hosted by Club Members for a corresponding year. The Riverview Club has participated in the program selected the outbound high school student. We have also hosted inbound students from Brazil, Denmark, Japan, Ecuador and other countries.

These are long-term exchanges, lasting a full academic year. Students live with more than one Rotary family in the host country and attend school there. Typically, these are Grade 11 students.

The program was cancelled during COVID but is back up and running.
