Dale Gienow, Executive Director of WILD North enthusiastically shared with members the three pillars of service WILD North provides 1) Animal rescue 2) Animal care and rehabilitation and 3) Education.

Dale has had a long and varied career in animal welfare spanning 35 years.  Including memorable times handling animals for film crews from Hollywood, National Geographic and Animal Planet.

He elaborated on the thousands of recues they perform each year, from high in trees and under porches. Many animals are brought to them requiring care at their Edmonton area animal hospital.  Many animals are successfully rehabilitated and released into the wild. But the most important pillar is Education. Animal education programs are delivered to thousands of students each year.

A most interesting presentation sparking lots of discussion. Thanks for spending the time with us Dale.
