ShelterBox Fundraiser

Goddag Riverview Rotary Club,

I would like to thank you all for supporting and donating money for my fundraising for Shelterbox. I am very happy to announce that I have raised $820!

We were asked to raise $500 which pays for half a Shelterbox. I am still hoping to be able to raise $1000 so I can buy my own Shelterbox and to be able to trace it, and know that with help from you, we have saved lifes!

If you know anyone, family, friends or co-workers that will be interested in buying tickets to win some great Danish prizes it is not too late yet! The deadline is next Rotary meeting, May 28th, and I'll be more than happy to collect some last tickets and round up to a whole Shelterbox.

My name is Pernille. I am a 16 year old Rotary Exchange student from Denmark and I am raising money to help buy a Shelter Box. Tickets are a reasonable $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. You will have a chance to win some amazing, authentic Danish prizes:

1st prize: A Denmark T-shirt and Danish chocolates [two chances to win];

2nd prize: Danish blue cheese and Danish pastry [three chances to win]; and

3rd prize: A CD made by a Danish artist [three chances to win]!
