Did you know that prostate cancer is the most common internal malignancy in men? It is the 3rd most common cancer related death and that 1 in 8 Canadian men will be diagnosed with this disease.
At our June 13, 2023 meeting, Dr. Adam Kinnaird, a prostate cancer surgeon/scientist from the University of Alberta, discussed advances in prostate cancer detection using new drugs, technologies, and devices. Significant advances and discoveries are being made here in Edmonton that will help to many men afflicted by prostate cancer.
