Thanks Savanna for sharing your passion for the work that was carried in October 2025 in Ecuador. The optometry team (including three members of the Riverview club) saw almost 600 patients in 5 days. Of the patients seen, 259 were deemed to require glasses. Immediately upon the team's return to Canada, they set out, with generous donations from suppliers and contacts, to prepare the glasses. Then just recently, the glasses were taken down to Ecuador and personally given to each person.
A very big thank you to folks at Zeiss, Vision Medical, Mood, Alternative Eyewear, Hoya and Alcon. And of course the staff at the Optometrist's Clinic and our partner Rotary Club in Ecuador, the Club Rotario Tomebamba.
