Our speakers series took us on a wild ride today. Dylan Pearce (Chair of the Alberta Media Production Industries Association, AMPIA), is an Edmonton-based director and producer. He is passionate about expanding the skills and media production capabilities in Alberta. Surprisingly, there are major production facilities right here in Edmonton (in the Orange Hub) that is producing cutting edge, and award winning productions. Dylan is also working to have major productions made here in Alberta. In fact many Hollywood productions have been filmed in Alberta. We have fantastic scenery that the world loves to see.
