On one of the coldest days of the year (so far), Riverview Rotarians transferred 60 wrapped gifts from 3 vehicles, into McCauley Lodge. Then, over the next hour, they hand delivered a gift to each resident of McCauley Lodge. After the gift giving, Rotarians served the residents a hearty lunch of baked ham, scalloped potatoes and vegetables.
McCauley Lodge is owned and operated by the Operation Friendship Seniors Society (OFSS). They have been servings Edmonton's Inner City Seniors since 1969. OFSS manages 5 housing facilities, each offering different levels of independence and supportive care. RC Edmonton Riverview has a long partnership with OFSS and wish all the residents a Merry Christmas.
