On Monday June 24, President Marg McCuaig-Boyd, attended the Eastglen High School Awards Ceremony and presented our Club’s Scholarships. Riverview Rotary has been supporting two Eastglen students with a scholarship for $1000 each over the past 10 years. Students need to have conditional acceptance from a post-secondary institution, have documented community service, plus submit a 250 word essay discussing the value and possible uses for the Rotary 4-Way Test. Candidates are nominated by staff at Eastglen. This year, the successful students are Isla MacDonald and Matthew Neary. Both students will be attending the U of A in the fall and will be guests at a future meeting.
