Incredible story of determination and perseverance today. Due to an unfortunate accident, Ross Wein's son Danny became wheelchair bound in 1998.  Ross soon discovered that there were limited opportunities for people with limited mobility to enjoy nature. Hence the founding of the Alberta Abilities Lodges Society, and the eventual purchase of  what is now Coyote Lake Lodge (a former Alberta  Correctional Centre).  It is a beautiful facility, set in 480 acres of forested, rolling hills only a little over 1 hour southwest of Edmonton.
Coyote Lake Lodge has a central meeting building and 4 cabins. Everything is designed with accessibility for everyone in mind.  There are trails, gardens orchards and outdoor equipment. They have international guests and they look forward to further expansions and improvements. Amazing story Ross. Thank you for joining us this morning.
