Bonnie Blakley, Executive Director of CASA Mental Health, gave an impassioned talk about the unique services provided by CASA. Many families of youth 3 - 18 years of age, struggling with mental health issues, are unable to find the necessary services for their children. CASA was founded 30 years ago in St. Agnes School in Edmonton. CASA now serves about 4,000 children in a variety of programs in several schools. Although CASA has grown, the need is immense and challenges faced by youth is enormous with a variety of addictions, social media pressures and post-pandemic trauma all contributing. Thank you to Bonnie and everyone as CASA for your commitment to the youth of Alberta.
