Last September, Paul and Cynthia Dusseault took a team of medical professionals to Ecuador to perform free cataract surgery and deliver free optometry services to disadvantaged individuals. While on that trip, the optometry team (lead by Kavitha Jayachandran from the YEG Passport Rotary Club) met a teenaged girl with a rare eye condition called Stargardt Disease. There is no treatment or surgery that can help Yuliana, but there is an electronic device that could improve her life. Please help us raise the money to purchase Yuliana the OrCam MyEye. A donation of $5 or $10 or any amount would help us reach our goal. Please read her story by clicking on the photo of Yuliana or this GoFundMe link.
We know she's one person in a world of people who need help, but, as Ronald Reagan once said, "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone."
Note: If you are not familiar with GoFundMe, donations can be made from anywhere in the world, in any currency, all by credit card.
