It's unfortunate but true, that the prevalence of Alzheimer's is increasing rapidly, that many of us likely know someone with the disease. Kelly McClung and Arlene Huhn from the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and the NWT, shared with club members the warning signs of Alzheimer's, what to expect and how to best cope both as a caregiver and for the person experiencing Alzheimer's. Also learned that dementia is the umbrella term for many conditions, Alzheimer's is one of many similar related conditions.
