Rotarians Sherry Wells and David Yaki tell about Rotary Fellowships and especially the very first one in 1928—Esperanto. They met in 2004 at an Esperanto conference in B.C., and later reconnected and married in 2023. Sherry sponsored David and they are members of the Rotary E-Klubo de Esperanto – Brasil.

Learn a little more about Edmonton's Food Bank and its current work feeding vulnerable people in our community. You'll hear about our programs, impact, statistics, and our work beyond food while sharing the stories behind the numbers.

Our September service project and social will be to gather used sports equipment that Sport Central would take on Tuesday September 29. We would deliver that equipment to their warehouse in the late morning and then go for lunch afterwards. John Williams has offered his truck to gather used sports equipment so that if members could not make the outing on the Tuesday, they could deliver their goods at other club meetings over the month. No registration is required, simply come.

This is RC Edmonton Riverview's major bi-annual fundraiser.  We'll need lots of people to fill all the work shifts. Please consider filling one shift, or do two shifts (one per day).  Funds from this event go towards the many local and international projects of the club.
