Rotary Foundation Training Videos 
A series of 8 short videos on a variety of Rotary Foundation topics are available to view and download. These short videos are an excellent resource for new member orientation, online training, club programs or for use as E-Club programs. The videos are all about 10 minutes. Presenters include RI President 2017-18 Ian Riseley, PDG Juliet Riseley, E/MGA Chris Offer, RRFC Betty Screpnek, RPIC Sean Hogan and Annual Giving Officer Chris Boyce. They were recorded in Vancouver on October 22, 2016 at the Wosk Centre for Dialogue at the Understanding - The Rotary Foundation Regional Seminar.
 
In District 5370 we are proud of the great work that is done in our communities and internationally by our clubs!  This work is accomplished in no small part due to our ROTARY FOUNDATION and the Global and District Grants that are given to support the projects that we do.

Foundation - Wayne Kauffman

To understand why we have a Rotary Foundation, one need only to look at the 4th Object of Rotary International; which is, “The advancement of world understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service”.

In order for Rotarians to support this 4th object, The Rotary Foundation was created 100 years ago.  This not for profit entity is governed by Rotarians, for Rotarians and their projects and raises funds for the various good works carried out around the world.

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

In a nutshell:

•    The Rotary Foundation helps fund our humanitarian activities, from local    service projects to global initiatives.

•    Your club or district can apply for grants from the Foundation to invest in projects and provide scholarships.

•    The Foundation also leads the charge on worldwide Rotary campaigns such as eradicating polio and promoting peace.

•    Rotarians and friends of Rotary support the Foundation’s work through voluntary contributions.
