On July 1st at the Rotary Foundation Impact Tour Event, District Governor Jeanette Bancarz and District Governor-Elect Andre Charrois announced the start of a new Rotary District 5370 Foundation Fundraising Challenge with a Goal of $2.027 million by 2027. The campaign officially started on July 1st and will end on November 30, 2027, with the results to be announced at a Foundation Challenge Dinner as part of the Fall 2027 District Conference.

Our $2.027 million in 2027 Foundation Fundraising Challenge is a comprehensive first dollar campaign meaning all contributions made to The Rotary Foundation between July 1st and the end of November 2027 will be recognized - big or small, to any or all of the 4 Foundation Funds.
Rotarians, Rotaractors, Rotary & Rotaract Clubs, and Friends of Rotary can all contribute to our Foundation Fundraising Challenge in several ways:
- Donate to any of the Rotary Foundation Funds: PolioPlus Fund, Annual Fund, Disaster Response Fund, and Endowment Fund – one time, monthly, or yearly depending on what works for you.
- Become a Paul Harris Society Member, with a commitment of $1,000USD (or more) per year to any of Annual Fund, PolioPlus Fund, or an approved Global Grant Project.
- Help grow the Foundation Endowment Fund, with some giving options including:
- donate to help grow our District 5370 Endowment Share Fund (Gift ID E22342), that we created in March 2026, with ½ of the annual earnings coming back to our District to help fund your Club-led District & Global Grant projects,
- Leave a personal Legacy Promise (Bequest) of $10,000USD (or more) to The Rotary Foundation through your Estate,
- Create a Lasting Living Legacy with a major gift of $25,000USD (or more) to the Foundation Endowment Fund, directing proceeds for Share, Global Grants, World Fund, or Rotary Peace Centres.
- Give to Polio Plus Fund and help us keep our promise to the children of the world to eradicate polio forever!
- become a member of the District 5370 PolioPlus Society by pledging $100USD (or more) per year to PolioPlus until polio is eradicated from the world forever,
- increase your giving impact by making your donation through the Miss Vicky 2027 Challenge for PolioPlus.
District Governor Jeanette and District Governor-Elect Andre have endorsed our continued participation for the 2026-2027 Rotary Year to build on the great work and momentum we made through your generous Club and Rotarian gifts to PolioPlus last year which were more than 59% above previous years. By participating in 2027, your donations to PolioPlus will be doubled even before the 2:1 match by the Gates Foundation, turning your $100 donation in to $600!
