The Immeasurable Benefits of Improv

This is a story about investing in the future of local youth.

To directly address the deficits left by Covid-19 and focus on the whole student, the Rotary Club of Edmonton Urban Spirits has provided crucial funding for a school-year long Rapid Fire Theatre Improv School Residency at awâsis waciston School.

This powerful program uses the art of improvisation to rebuild the foundational confidence and connection points students need, ensuring they gain skills that extend far beyond academic subjects.

Three Rings of Impact: Helping Babies Thrive at Home and Abroad
 
Join the Rotary Club of Edmonton South on March 12 at the Edmonton Expo Centre for an evening dedicated to helping premature babies survive and thrive both locally and in Uganda.
 
Hosted by Danny Hooper, the gala will fund essential medical equipment for the Covenant Foundation and Kikyenkye Hospital to ensure vulnerable infants receive life-saving care.
 
Tickets are $175 and include a gourmet dinner, live auction, and entertainment.
