Project Amigo prepares for its return to Mexico during Humanitarian Week 2016.
The signs that winter is fast approaching are all around us. With the cooler weather, our thoughts naturally turn to “winter holidays” in hopes of minimizing the long dark cold days of winter. Have you considered going (or returning) to Project Amigo for a Humanitarian Week? The warmth of the welcome, the genuine Mexican hospitality, the smiles of the children, and that sense of satisfaction knowing that you are making a difference in the life of a child are sure to make a lasting impression.
Jenna and Alex Saldana are the new executive directors of Project Amigo. They have graciously organized a District 5370 Humanitarian Workweek from Feb 7 to 14, 2016. Take advantage of this invitation to make new friends, to rekindle old friendships, to broaden your horizons or perhaps to meet the child you sponsor.
The registration fee remains at $1,200.00 per person (shared rooms) or $1,325.00 for a private room. A deposit of $600.00 will secure your place. Depending on the room arrangements, a maximum of 24 volunteers can be accommodated for each session. Register now to guarantee your spot. Please encourage others to visit Project Amigo; have your friends, neighbors, or family join you.
