CSTA Susquehanna Valley was established as your local computer science community. This chapter was built to connect you with other computer science teachers, provide professional development to help you improve your craft, and connect your local voice to the national computer science education community.
Jeffrey Wile - Chapter President
Jeffrey is a Computer Science teacher at Warwick High School. Jeffrey has developed six computing courses ranging from introductory programming to AP Computer Science A. Jeffrey is a corporate faculty member at Harrisburg University, teaching dual enrollment at Warwick. Additionally, Jeffrey is a KTI Star (2018), KTI Presenter in 2019 and 2020, an NCWIT Educator Award Winner in 2018, a guest instructor for Millersville University's Coding Confidence graduate course, and involved in the IU-13 Stem Leadership Academy for 2020/2021.
Jigar Patel - Chapter Vice President
Jigar is an Instructional Media & Communications Specialist at Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11 (TIU11). Jigar supports TIU11's Spark Lab, a makerspace for educators and learners from k-12. Jigar is Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, CMU CS Academy Trainer, and adjunct lecturer at Juniata College. Jigar graduate with a Bachelor of Arts from Juniata College holds an Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate from Duquesne University and holds a Masters from Birmingham City University.
Kristina Fulton - Chapter Treasurer
Kristina is a Teaching & Learning Consultant for Lancaster Lebanon IU13. In this role she supports educators in the region with curriculum support, instructional strategies, and in learning and integrating educational technologies. Kristina is a CMU CS Academy Trainer, CSforALL SCRIPT Facilitator and also supports in the area of Mathematics.
Nicole Bond - Chapter Secretary
Nicole is an Educational Technology Specialist at Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 serving Adams, Franklin, and York Counties. A former 7th/8th grade ELA teacher, Nicole is driven and focused on in the integration of CS in all subjects for all students. Nicole is a KTI STAR (2019) and has presented at ISTE, PETE&C, PCTELA, and at other KTI Summits on a variety of educational technology topics. She is a graduate of West Chester University of PA, McDaniel College (MD), and currently attends York College of PA.
