Introduction to Physical Computing with micro:bit
Course Description
REGISTRATION CLOSES Monday, August 2, 2021.
In this Popfizz PD program, we’ll explore the many features of micro:bit. We’ll begin with MakeCode to control the micro:bit. Then, we’ll learn to program it using Python. With just a few lines of code, you can use it as a game controller, a fall detector, and much more.
Materials:

Laptop or desktop computer

micro:bit: Micro:bit units are available to borrow from DEVCON Kids.
Details on borrowing and returning Micro:bit kits available here.
PICK-UP DATE: MONDAY and TUESDAY, AUGUST 2 and 3, 2021, 8 am to 5 pm
RETURN DATE: FRIDAY August 27, 2021, 5 pm
May arrange for courier pick up and delivery with signed release form.
