We are excited to share that FTX is sponsoring a Charity Hackathon with a challenge to create the BEST idea to improve mental and physical health. There will be a Shark-Tank style Playoff with Kevin O'Leary for the top 5 teams. A team may have 1 -5 members. The competition is open to all students (ages 13-19) in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
Entries should be no longer than 5 pages (if a PDF or Word document) or 20 slides (if a Powerpoint) and include the following:

A) Mission and scope: explain what your project will do.

B) Needs statement: explain why your project is a great use of a million dollars. Show why your project is better than similar projects, if there are any.

C) Business plan to include

· Personnel needed to implement your project

· Marketing plan - explain how people will learn about your project.

· Budget- how would you spend 1 million dollars for your project.

· Evaluation - explain how you will know how well your project is working

If outside resources are used to prepare the entry, they must be documented properly as footnotes and in a Bibliography

Awards: $1 million funding for the top idea, $15K scholarship for all Play-off contestants, Tickets to the Miami-Heat, Miami Marlins, Justin Bieber, and The Weeknd at FTX Arena for the TOP 50 Teams.
