Join us for our first-ever Lunch & Learn on July 12, 2023, 11:30 - 1:00 pm @ Tetris’ Honolulu Office*. We want to make attending as easy as possible so we’re providing transportation from Ala Moana Center to Tetris’ office in Downtown Honolulu, and back, so you don’t have to deal with parking.

This unique event is: 1) completely free, 2) intimate – limited to 15 people, and 3) focused on gaining insights and tactics that will inspire you to create a safer and more inclusive classroom.

Here’s what you can expect:
- Henk Rogers, Tetris founder and main character of the 2023 Tetris movie, will talk about his journey from a computer science student at UH Mānoa to a game designer who changed the world. He'll share the challenges he faced, the lessons he learned, and the principles that guide him to this day.
- No fluffy, polished presentations. Just Henk and CS educators sharing from the heart about their experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to ask Henk questions and engage in lively discussions.
- Share insights from the CSTA 2023 Annual Conference.
- Fun swag to take home with you!

Sign up now, you don't want to miss it. We’ll also do some role-playing around roster justice - a page from MIT's Becoming a More Equitable Educator course.

Thanks to a grant from CSTA National this is all free – including your lunch and transportation! All you need to bring is your curiosity and appetite.

*Neighbor island educators: After you register, we’ll send a link for you to join remotely.
