CSTA Iowa is hosting 6 different sites across the state for you to attend CSTA National's How We Teach Computing Summit in person with fellow Iowa CS teachers!
🌟 If you have a CSTA+ membership AND you attend one of our in person watch parties, CSTA Iowa will pay your summit registration fee! 🌟 That's right! You can attend for free!💰

Northwest - Sioux City Watch Party @ Sioux City Career Academy
North Central - Forest City Watch Party @ Waldorf University, Salverson Hall
Northeast - Waterloo Watch Party @ Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta Middle School
Southwest - Woodbine Watch Party @ Woodbine Community Schools
South Central - Sully Watch Party @ Lynnville-Sully High School
Southeast - Iowa City Watch Party @ West High School
You will select a watch party location as part of your registration process. After you register for a CSTA Iowa watch party, you'll receive an email with the Iowa discount code and a link to register for the How We Teach Computing Summit. Event address and details for each watch party will be communicated the week of October 24, 2022.
PLEASE NOTE:
- You must register twice!
- Register for an in person watch party and select a location with CSTA Iowa.
- Use the national registration link and discount code emailed from CSTA Iowa to register for the virtual summit by the registration date.
- CSTA Iowa reserves the right to collect a $15 reimbursement fee from attendees that register for a watch party but don't attend the event.
- Please email iowa@csteachers.org if you are unable to attend the event as soon as possible.
