Participants will attend an introductory session on October 20th from 4p to 5p on Zoom. Following that session, participants will select and attend 14 hours of high quality computer science professional development provided by CSTA and CSTA Iowa from this menu of options. Following each professional development opportunity, participants will submit their certificate of completion for the event, a reflection of their learning, and describe plans to utilize the learning in their classroom/professional setting.
The professional development menu will include but is not limited to CSTA Iowa Virtual Chapter Meetings, CSTA Iowa Regional (in person) Meetups, and CSTA Virtual Learning Summits. Links to registration for selected events can be found on this document. CSTA Virtual Learning Summits require a registration fee not covered by participation in this course.
