Introduction to Micro:bits
Facilitated by Yolanda Payne, South Regional Coordinator for CSTA, you'll learn how to introduce your students to the exciting field of micro:bit technology! The micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that helps the learner understand how software and hardware work together. It has light displays, sensors, and input/output features that, when programmed, let it interact with the world. This virtual hands-on PD is free and open to all educators. A limited number of free micro:bits are available to Oklahoma educators. You may still participate in the workshop using an online simulator if you do not have access to a micro:bit device.
