Bias-Busting in CS and STEM Education Workshop
Facilitated by Elizabeth Borneman of the MIT Teaching Systems Lab, join us for this FREE event as we learn strategies to cultivate students' CS and STEM identities and curiosity, how to advocate for students in the face of structural inequities, and make changes in our own schools to expand student engagement with CS and STEM. You'll leave with a new set of tools, a shared language, and a framework grounded in research and real teacher practice to empower and sustain your craft as a more equitable educator. All are welcome! You do not need to be a computer science or STEM teacher to attend.  Pre-service and informal educators are welcome, too!
