CSTA SoCal President - Victor Casas

Victor Casas has worked in the field of computer science education for 23 years, gaining experience in piloting many public education initiatives in Southern California such as: Exploring Computer Science, Mobilizing Computer Science, and AP Computer Science Principles. He also has independently designed and developed curriculum in Robotics, Game Design and STEAM. As a seasoned Computer Science Educator, he is passionate about advancing Equity and Social Justice initiatives in public education. In addition to serving as a classroom teacher, he is also involved in professional development and advocacy, serving as President of the Computer Science Teachers Association of Southern California. Outside of the workspace, Victor Casas enjoys spending time with his family, hiking & cycling, and exploring new cultures and places.
