Join us on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. CT as we kickoff CSTA's Chapter Inquiry Group program. Learn more about the 1-year program that engages CS educators in identity-inclusive CS topics, safe conversation practices, and community building.

Join the CSTA Alabama Identity Inclusion in CS Education Professional Learning Community!

As part of the CSTA AL Identity Inclusion in CS Education PLC you will:

  • complete CSTA's new "Identity Inclusion for K-12 Computer Science Educators" self-paced, virtual course (hosted on Coursera) by December 18th 2022.
  • attend 5, 90 minute meetings (one per month), between January and May 2023 (date, time and location TBC)
  • “Identity Inclusion for K-12 Computer Science Educators” is a virtual, self-paced course that provides a foundational understanding of one’s self, the impact one has on others, and ways to foster safe and inclusive CS learning environments.
