There will be a Virtual Connecticut Scratch Meetup on Thursday, August 13, 2020 beginning at 6;30 pm. During the meetup you'll learn about Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/), how you can use it in the classroom, network with other teachers who are interested in using Scratch, and participate in hands-on activities. (Why should the students have all the fun?)
The meetup is completely free and open to all educators, no matter where you live. No Scratch coding experience is needed! BYOS (bring your own snack!) We will be meeting via Zoom, which is free.
This is a great opportunity to prepare for the new school year. Please come prepared with a tip or resource for online teaching to share with the group. It doesn't have to be Scratch related.
