TeachTech is a free conference that aims to help middle school teachers incorporate computer science into their curriculum. Join the fun on January 25 as an attendee or a speaker!
We are excited to announce that Code Haven’s annual conference TeachTech will be held on January 25, 2020 at Yale University! We would love to invite you to attend the conference and let interested teachers and administrators in your districts know about the event!

TeachTech is a free conference that aims to help middle school teachers incorporate computer science into their curriculum. Many teachers are interested in teaching CS in their classes, but lack the CS knowledge or resources to do so. At TeachTech, we bring together teachers, administrators, and other educators from New Haven and the surrounding area and equip them with CS curriculum resources, talks from diverse CS education leaders, and learnings from our own experiences teaching CS to middle schoolers.

A bit more about us, Code Haven is a Yale student-run organization that focuses on increasing access to computer science among middle school students. We currently teach introductory computer science in seven classrooms across New Haven. With limited resources, Code Haven is limited in the number of classrooms we can reach in a given year. TeachTeach is a way of extending our impact and reaching teachers in schools we don’t have the capacity to teach at.

TeachTech 2020 is January 25th on Yale’s Campus. The event is 100% free and also includes complimentary breakfast and lunch.

If you are interested in attending, please fill out our interest form and we will follow up with more details and tickets as the event approaches: https://forms.gle/3DQ31N8nFNnd2sow9
