Instead, on 10/12, we will meet at Transplant Pizza for an informal teacher meetup. Pizza is still provided by CSTA-Arizona and the U of A CS Department. Come join us to network with other local CS teachers and enjoy dinner on us.

These events focus on building community and making connections with other CS educators by participating in rich and engaging CS content that could be adapted to the K-12 classroom. These events are modeled after Math Teacher Circles, where rich and engaging computer science content is presented along with strategies on how to implement ideas in the classroom. Professional Development hours are available during certain sessions.

Topic: Introducing AI and deep learning to students
Presenter: Dr. Mihai Surdeanu, Associate Professor at University of Arizona Computer Science Department
