Local chapters are the beating heart of CSTA. They build community among computer science teachers who are often isolated in their schools, provide professional development to help teachers improve their craft, and connect local teacher voices to the national computer science education community.

Looking to be one of our pilot partners for international chapters? We can work through the challenges together. We cannot currently provide grants or some of the other support that we offer North American-based chapters, but there are many other benefits to CSTA chapter formation.
Members interested in forming a new chapter must complete and submit a chapter formation application. Individuals interested in forming a new chapter must be current members of CSTSA in good standing. Potential chapter members listed on the formation application should be CSTA members in good standing as well.
Companies and organizations interested in promoting products and services to chapters can do so through CSTA’s Institutional Partnerships. Learn more.
