CSTA Engage - May 2021 - Supporting Students with Learning Disabilities & Differences

Please join us for our CSTA Engage Meetup on Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. CT to connect with and learn alongside other K-12 CS teachers. We’ll host a jam-packed hour and a half, worth every minute of your midweek evening. Activities will include a time specifically for networking, a featured PD activity, and unconference/birds-of-a-feather sessions.
Joining us will be Miss Darlene Bowman, CSTA Staten Island Chapter President, speaking on "CS4AUTISM" and the need for more CS experiences and opportunities for young adults on the spectrum in high school and beyond. In addition, Sarah Ciras, CSTA Equity Fellow, will also be joining us and presenting on supporting students with language-based disabilities.
