Discover the network and resources available to you to become a champion of foundational computer science concepts and competencies in your district. This webinar is sponsored by Coderz and will showcase a free robotic challenge for your students to kick off the 2021 school year.
Webinar Agenda: This webinar aims to share and discuss the needs and obstacles to the whole-district implementation of foundational computer science concepts and competencies.

Who is hosting the webinar? Gail Morris, Delaware CSTA member, business ed, and computer technology instructor extraordinaire, has done it all, but she knows there’s so much more to do. Computer science (CS) is an important element in strengthening existing education models and preparing students for the future. But to do so, foundational computer science concepts and competencies must be instituted at all levels of education. Chat with  Gail, a 2019 Teacher of the Year for her school she shares her journey and experience pushing for CS for all students in her district and beyond.

What will you learn in this webinar? The attendee will have a chance to discuss CS implementation in a large district with the charge's professional.

What is something I can take away and implement from this webinar? Resources to implement district-wide CS programs, and programs like CoderZ. Take our robots for a test drive with the Amazon Cyber Robotics Challenge. This three-hour challenge with an optional virtual factory tour introduces students (or you!) to real-world industry and uncovers how coding and robotics get millions of goods delivered to doorsteps worldwide. This challenge is free of cost and is an amazing taste of the CoderZ platform.
