Southeast Rural Community Assistance Program (SERCAP) along with its partner the Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association (VA AWWA) invites representatives of Small Community Water Systems (fewer than 10,000 persons served), to a FREE online workshop on Compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Your utility faces day-to-day challenges providing reliable, safe drinking water for your customers while voiding costly violations.  This FREE 2-DAY ONLINE workshop is offered to help your utility learn about compliance with drinking water regulations and steps to avoid those costly violations.  

Dates:  March 29 AND March 30
Time:  12:30 - 4:30 pm 

The final agenda is being developed but what topics will be discussed at the workshop, are:

  • AWIA Small Systems Resilience

  • Controlling Lead and Cooper

  • Distribution System Infrastructure

  • Source Water Assessment and Protection

Water Operator Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for this training - 4 hours per day.

The training is free but you must register in order to receive webinar connection information.
