School Business Officials work at many levels in the K-12 public education system. The Bootcamp is designed to provide an overview for individuals who are new to the profession of school business and/or to their new role. It also provides a great refresher for any ASBOA member.
ASBOA and Alberta Education are pleased to provide the BOOTCAMP 101 session each September for ASBOA members and those newly appointed Secretary Treasurers, Directors and individuals working in the various positions in the school business profession.
The focus for this program is to provide an overview of key areas that school business officials interact with regularly throughout their career.
Whether you are new to school business or you have been around but are in a new position, or you just need a refresher - this program is a great resource. We welcome members from our education stakeholder organizations working in the K-12 education system in Alberta.
This year due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be offering the Bootcamp through a 3 part series of 3 hr sessions during the month of September.
Sessions are scheduled as follows:
Wednesday, September 9th - 8:30 am to Noon - Recordings will be available at month end
Wednesday, September 16th - 8:30 am to 10:30 - Recordings will be available at month end
Wednesday, September 23rd - 8:30 am to Noon - Register Now

Members - Complimentary
Non-Members - $50.00 + 2.50 GST = $52.50

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The Registration fees that are identified are offered to those who pre-register for the program. In order to receive a full refund, notification of cancellation must be received by email up to one working week prior to the event. Refunds are not given for "no shows" or cancellations less than 2 working days prior to the program. (Extenuating circumstances will be considered on an individual basis).
Collection of Information: By registering for this event you are giving permission to the collection and use of information requested on registration form.The information collected on the registration form is for the purpose of providing program information to the individual and materials pre and post event. Contact information may be shared with presenters for the purposes of the specific program.
