This month we'd like to highlight the CodeCombat for Secondary CS Teachers.
CodeCombat engages students in learning CS, web development, and game design through gameplay. It's a great fit for both online and hybrid learning because teachers can keep students engaged in learning and monitor their progress. Students can learn Python, JavaScript, and HTML on the platform.
CSTA Iowa members Kyle Kuhlers and Mauree Haage both recommend the site. Kyle has witnessed his High School students enjoy the platform found it easy to transition between face to face, hybrid, and all online teaching and learning. Mauree's son has an account and has been loving learning on the platform independently.
