The Computer Science and Software Engineering Programs in the School of Engineering at Quinnipiac University are sponsoring a High School Computer Programming Competition. The competition will be held remotely using cloud tools (Zoom and Mimir) on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. We will be limiting the competition to 30 teams this year. High schools should submit a form for each team. Teams consist of 2 or 3 students. We reserve the right to limit the number of teams from individual schools if necessary, to provide slots for more schools to participate. The deadline for registration is Tuesday, April 20th.
Student teams will work together to solve programming problems. Programs may be written and submitted in Java, C/C++, or Python. If a team wishes to use a different language, please contact us directly. The competition consists of problems ranging from relatively easy to relatively difficult. Scoring will be based on whether the submitted program compiles, runs, and solves the specified problem. The team that solves the most problems wins; ties are broken by the time of last successful submission.
