During this hands-on presentation, you will learn how to get up and running with Phidgets. All K-12 educators will receive a free introductory kit and a bonus light sensor from Phidgets Education. Using this hardware, you will be led through two projects:
  • In the first project, you will learn about the components in your introductory kit. These include buttons, LEDs, and a temperature/humidity sensor.
  • In the second project, you will use your light sensor to add automation to a popular browser-based game.
After you register and indicate you are a K-12 educator, you will receive an email with a promotional code to receive a free Phidget starter kit. Please order these kits ahead of the May meeting so you can code along during the meeting!
