Join the VWEA | VA AWWA Sustainability Committee for a webinar on Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
Come hear and learn from two experienced speakers about life cycle cost (LLC) analyses, the benefit of these analyses to a utility, and how to perform these analyses. The intent of this webinar is to provide the audience with a better idea of how to implement an LCC analysis at their utility or for their clients.
Life cycle cost analysis is an approach that assesses the total cost of the equipment over its life cycle including initial capital costs, maintenance costs, and operating costs. The intent is to enable utilities to consider all present and future costs, as well as more abstract values when purchasing major equipment. However, that is easier said than done. This webinar starts with a presentation of why a utility would like to perform an LCC analysis and what they can expect to be included. The second presentation shows how to go about doing it and what resources may be needed. Participants will walk away with a better idea of how to implement an LCC analysis at their utility or for their clients.
